"The decor throughout the hotel is somethIng to behold. Gorgeous original entrance to the lift, quirky decorations everywhere. It really added to the experience of a nights stay in a hotel. The rooms were very different from the norm and very clean. The staff were very upbeat and welcoming. We had a few long chats in the bar with the night shift manager. He was so good giving us a lot of historical info about the hotel and also the surrounding area. All in all, it’s a place we will defo be back...

"Lovely hotel. In a fantastic location right by the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Worth paying the extra for a room at the back looking out over the Maned Wolves and Lar Gibbons. We loved watching the animals from our room. Beds were comfy, shower was great and the toiletries smelt lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Was also a reasonable price unlike other zoo hotels which can cost £1000s. (We went midweek in September when the schools have...
