"The nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in in Scotland! Room and the bed was lovely, shower fantastic, breakfast was great and the staff were all so friendly. I travel a lot and it’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Can’t wait to go back."

"This apartment was wonderful. Comfortable and clean. We easily got in and out. Such an amazing first experience. The staff was helpful and kind. The restaurant was delightful with amazing food!"

"The hotel had a great location, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, and the swimming pool was a lovely experience before we headed out to explore."

"The room was not cleaned day to day. Breakfast looked and tasted like it was cooked yesterday. Because we booked through Expedia, we were told we would have to pay extra for use of the leisure facilities. The place looks tired and in need of some care and attention. All that said, a great location. And a tip, if you are going to need car parking, book it online ahead of time and it'll cost half to a third what the hotel will charge you."

"Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms."

"clean room, walkable location."

"Easy check in with friendly staff, walking distance to great food"

"Much love and careful attention is going into the refurbishing of this historic property. You won't get a warmer welcome in Stirling! A great room centrally located."

"This is a very serviceable commercial hotel and provides a high standard of accommodation for travelers but is somewhat utilitarian in style."

"Lovely hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was very nice and the little touches were appreciated. One little grievance, the breakfast was very slow in arriving from time of order, also slightly overdone."

"Everything fine. No problems."
