"This is the kind of hotel one always wants to stay in. The location was perfect. It was easy to find and conveniently located for exploring downtown, walking to the bridge and hitting the highway for day trips. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We knew there were other guests but, once we were in our room, we didn't hear a sound from the outside world. The pool, slide and hot tub were great to have access to. "The "good": Beds were clean, staff were friendly, pool looked clean. The bad: The bathrooms were very run-down and dirty looking, the room was so hot, and the AC took about 3 hours to cool it down. The general condition of the exterior and interior of the building looked like it hadn't been updated in 30 years (old carpet, water stains, leaks in roof, etc.). The included breakfast was a solid 3/10."

"The staff was very helpful. They were able to place us in a room that according to the hotel front desk person has never had an animal in that room. My husband has bad allergies to animals. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast area was clean and the food was good and organized. The employee at breakfast took care to assist people and keep all the food containers full and clean. We did not use the pool/hot tub but the pool looked very nice. Thank you."

"This is the only hotel that I have stayed at in the last 10 years that took the time to call your room about 15 minutes after check in to see if everything was good and if you needed help with anything. As it was, the TV was being a bit difficult and went into a software update that we didn't know what to do with. A gentleman came up immediately and waited til it was all done and installed it for us. While waiting, he gave great tips for places to go, where they were and restaurants. Couldn't...

"Like the old saying goes, "you get what you paid for", and this was the case here. Pros: Room was clean, liked the addition of the small kitchenette area, liked the motel entrance rather than being up several floors in a hotel and fridge and freezer were larger than normal. Cons: beds were terribly uncomfortable, couldn't get air conditioning to work, crank window broken and not usable, only 1 pkg of coffee, kleenex box with perhaps 3 tissues in it, no vending, ATM or ice machine on site. ...
