"We love staying at the McCormick. The room cleanliness is superb, kudos to the housekeeping staff for doing a superb job of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The patio is an amazing place to enjoy the view with a cocktail and good company. The pool is great for relaxing and cooling down on a hot day. The facility is showing its age and is in need of refreshing. The carpets are dated and worn. The hallways are in need of better lighting and a facelift; they are plain and not very comforting. Our bed was okay, but the mattress needs to be replaced soon. The marketplace area needs to be improved, especially the frozen items that seemed to be freezer-burned. Make some major improvements or do away with it altogether. Food was great, but the bartender/server seemed very overwhelmed, especially on a busy night. He did his best and was kind and apologetic for the extended wait times in getting the food or drink to your table, but we understood his predicament. Kudos to him for doing his best and having such a positive attitude while doing it. The grounds are very well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be back, hopefully, some much-needed improvements will be made. "

"Hotel was great loved the restaurant and bar area. Pool was fun and happening with the DJ playing. Drinks were yummy. Loved the location of the hotel and the valet was awesome. Would definitely recommend."

"Property was in the process of closing down the following week for a rebranding effort. It was in need of basic maintenance/repair, "breakfast" was marginal, carbo rich lacking any protein. Front desk personnel were mostly unfriendly and unhelpful. Expedia needs to do better due diligence before listing properties."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Scottsdale Camelback Resort. I found this listing through Expedia. It is tailored for a more mature audience, but I appreciated that. The Villa was neat and clean. The property has all sorts of amenities. It's located in an excellent location for walking to nearby shops, restaurants, etc. I felt safe traveling solo as the property is contained. The check-in process was very easy and I completed it online. The staff helped me to get in an hour early and I enjoyed the property while I waited. I would like to recognize the following staff members for their outstanding service - Brooke my esthetician who did my facial at the spa, Melissa the bartender at Splash, Naomi working the front desk at night, and Maria the water yoga instructor. They all made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. Thank you all for making my trip to AZ extra special!"
