The site is next to Salona Roman Ruins which you pay to enter and is a great historical walk to spend an hour or two. Also there is a shopping mall, we took an Uber to The Mall of Split about 5 euros one way, good for all shopping and has a food court as well as restaurants as we found the hotel restaurant pleasant but a little...

We enjoy to walk so we continued on foot on an amazing waterfront path for about a 10-15 minute walk. We checked in to the hotel and were escorted around the facility and shown all amenities.
