"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was clean and warm when we arrived, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and modern. At first, we were a little nervous because the road seemed quite tricky due to the heavy snow and the buildings looked quite rustic from the outside, but everything went smoothly. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Hauptschalter, das große Licht an der Decke ist schon defekt und im Badezimmer sollte dringend der Kalk von den letzten zwei Generationen entfernt werden. Man hört wenn der Zimmernachbar das Klopapier abrollt, alles ziemlich hellhörig. Es gab auch nur zwei Handtücher im Zimmer, keinen Bademantel um zum Hot Tub zu gelangen, sodass man „wie Gott einen schuf“ geht oder in weiser...

Two things that were annoying: Hallways have wooden floors so it is a bit noisy when someone walks by the room. There is a tv but only two channels with very poor reception (rabbit ears on roof??). Otherwise all good, especially for the price."

"Nice big bed and room, nice property, breakfast was great as well! The restaurant was a bit expensive but that is standard in Iceland. Only downside of the room was minimal ventilation, so you have to open the windows during a shower or the whole room gets humid"

"I booked a triple room with Expedia and the listing says: three twin beds. Hotel Kea gave me: two twin beds and a sofa bed... If i wanted a sofa bed i could have booked anywhere else... When we told Hotel Kea our rooms were incorrect they said there was nothing that they can do. Maybe there was some sort of miscommunication between Expedia and Hotel Kea. But if you were to book a hotel, why take the risk? I recommend you book elsewhere and save yourself the trouble."
