Our second visit and we really enjoyed our stay. Love the breakfast. Very large rooms with everything we needed. Lots of little extras in the bathroom. Lovely stroll to the centre for sightseeing etc. Transport options nearby.

A comfortable place to stay

The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There is no iron or ironing board in the rooms, no coffee maker and no microwave in the rooms. The staff cared about the guests.

The staff is very efficient and friendly. The rooms are of good size, clean and comfortable. From the outside, the building is not attactive, but inside, especially with the atrium is really nice. The location is also great for walks along the river and into the old (or the new) town

Great hotel and location

Walking up was a little hesitant but once inside it’s beautiful! Our room was the size of an apartment! Huge! Living room two bathrooms dining room and large bedroom. Walk out the back door and walk along the river to see the sights. We didn’t have breakfast there but it looked fantastic. Short distance to the tram which will bring you right to the train station.

Dresden Halbmarathon 2024

An absolutely brilliant stay. In town for the Dresden HM the hotel was the perfect location for race day and a bit of sightseeing. We were made to feel very welcome by Vincent upon our arrival. Our room was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again 👍

Very impressive when you walk into reception. The room was very large, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the river. Breakfast has a large variety of foods to suit everyone. Great location to visit Dresden, close to everything. This is the 4th Maritim location we've stayed at and we think they're great

I have stayed several times at this hotel. I had less interaction with staff this time. The room was very spacious and well-equipped. The views were lovely. The pool was slightly too cold but indeed refreshing.

Easy walking distance to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable, however we had to request a kettle and cups, as these are not supplied in the room. Bathroom supplies also needed to be requested, if required. The area was safe and quiet. The Hop On Hop Off Bus had a stop at the front of the Hotel which was good. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

Fantastic hotel!

Utterly fantastic! The hotels location is no more than a 5/10 minute walk from the centre, with a wonderful walk along the water front to get there. The city of Dresden is beautiful, with the most amazing architecture. There is a great selection of places to eat and drink. The city is clean with plenty to see and do. Our room was a great size, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom has everything you need, with a great mirror for anyone wanting to apply their make up. There was a small fridge but we would have liked a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities too. The hotel has a great, secure, large under ground parking, I believe we paid 24 Euros per day to use it. The hotel's foyer is very impressive with beautiful chandeliers and comfortable seating. There is a piano bar that opens at 7pm, we didn't go in as we had plans both evenings we were there but there is a alcohol vending machine if you come back late and both the bars are closed, that was very reasonable. And finally the breakfast. Hands down, the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel! It was exquisite. The selection was vast, freshly prepared and all delicious! I would stay there again just for this! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! Stay here you will love every minute of it!

The initial booking was a mistake, and correcting the date would unfortunately cost as much as the initial reservation. My partner and I decided to bite the bullet, and visited anyway. The reception depended a lot on who was on at the day. Sometimes a bit dismissive, others really kind and welcoming. We dined at the hotels restaurant, and despite being really well taken care of overall, we felt like we were being kicked out, as one hour away from closing, everything was being removed from the buffet, and despite the room being almost empty, we weren't the only couple. The room itself was quite large, clean, comfortable to work from, good temperature control, comfortable bed, and a very nice bathroom. What made it less comfortable, was the pounding of whoever was walking upstairs, or on the hallway (we never managed to figure it out). It was disconcerting and surprising that a hotel of this caliber would be so poorly sound proofed. Waking up with people walking at 7am to go for early breakfast was a really unpleasant experience, and I would advise against anyone in need of real rest to stay over. The sauna facilities were very pleasant, and the hotel kindly provided us with towels, bathrobes and slippers. I wish there was more seating in that area, but understand that there isn't so much space. It was very nice to have 2 saunas and one hamam to choose from, that is rare!
