"There is little soundproofing between rooms and every step can be heard from the room upstairs and next to us. We could hear every step from above and also conversations that prevented us from getting much sleep. We were also woken early by guests in the room next door who entertained guests on the porch and took chairs from our porch without regard for us in the room next to them. We don’t understand why guests were given rooms next to us when there were only 4 rooms occupied in the entire...

"Checking in was a hassle. Person didn’t set key codes in time. People waited around in the hall for awhile and the guy never showed up personally. He changed the codes at some point but didn’t call any of us to tell us so. Room was great. "

"This was a beautiful property about a mile and a half outside of town, so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable, and even had generous bathrobes too use. I would stay here again the next time I am on San Juan Island!"

"Both the sink and bathtub were over flowing, did not drain properly. Towels had stains on them. The blankets felt very thin and had a distinctive scent. The carpet looks like it has never been vacuum or cleaned properly. The TV had issue turning on. We had to manually reset the TV for it to work. The carpets and walls in the hallways look outdated. All of our previous hotels allow us to check in early, they told us check in was at 3pm."

"Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice."
