I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. We booked a Burj-view suite for 4 nights and paid a significant amount of money. After a 13-hour flight with an infant, we arrived around 11:30am. The front desk staff were not welcoming at all — very cold and dismissive. Even after confirming our booking and seeing we had a baby, they refused to let us check in unless we paid an additional fee for early check-in.
We were told to wait until 3pm and to “go to the pool” with an exhausted infant after a long international flight. Only after pushing did they offer a room, but again demanded extra money. For a premium hotel, this behavior is unacceptable.
The hotel interior is nice, but the customer service and attitude toward paying guests — especially families — is extremely disappointing. Definitely not family-friendly, and not worth the price.
