It’s a bit of a hike to Trieste Centro but it’s worth it for a better price then the City. Clean premises , easy and lots of free parking. Great coffee and good breakfast included in the room rate.

Un hotel correcto... que necesita actualización

La habitación era amplia y tenía un pequeño balcón, estaba limpia y ordenada, pero por desgracia se veía que el paso de los años reclamaban una actualización. El baño igual, era amplio pero anclado en los años 70. Por lo que hace referencia al desayuno era bastante surtido pero al poner poca cantidad en las bandejas del buffet, la tropa de niños se encargaban que no quedara nada cuando llegaras... El personal amable y el hotel limpio.

Struttura sicuramente datata peró dotata di tutti i confort. Camera molto ampia e sempre in ordine e pulita. Il personale e i gestori dell'hotel sono stati molto gentili. Il menù del ristorante molto vario e per tutti i gusti, da una semplice pasta al pomodoro a pietanze di pesce. Tutto sempre molto buono. Eccellente la pizza. Colazione varia con prodotti di qualità. La baia di sistiana é stata un'ottima scoperta, mare cristallino e pulito. Da tornarci sicuramente.

Alt und so lala

Für 1 Nacht vielleicht ok, mehr nicht. Zimmer sehr alt, klein und in unseren hat es einen eklig staubig alten Geruch gehabt. Gegessen haben wir nicht, auch wenn es wohl gut schmecken würde. Aber das ungepflegte Aussehen des Kellners und die wortkarge Gestik schreckten uns ab. Definitiv für uns keine Übernachtung mehr, obwohl das Hotel an sich einen Charme noch versprüht. Parkplätze sind kostenlos und gut vorhanden am Hotel.

La pulizia della camera è molto curata. L'albergo ha un piacevole aspetto da "nobile decaduto". Un consiglio: provate il ristorante annesso all'albergo!

Far, misleading, expensive

Hotel is situated far out of Trieste, a 30-minute highway drive, in a small town with little activity nor charm and relatively few restaurants. The advertising that it is nearby a beach is misleading: walking to the beach, or marina, would be at least a half hour, and driving means parking at the marina and finding the beach. The hotel was loaded with extremely loud American servicemen who stayed up until the wee hours of the morning banging doors and yelling. Management did nothing about this. The door lock of the room jammed and was fixed with brusque service. For what one pays there are better deals in the Trieste area. No pool, gym, sauna or extra services. Would not return.

Zimmer sauber und mit schönem Meerblick, jedoch alt und etwas abgewohnt! Wände könnten auch einen Anstrich vertragen! Frühstück war recht gut, Auswahl eher bescheiden! Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Türe! Strand zu Fuß wäre etwas weit entfernt! Wlan auch gut! Personal super freundlich und das Restaurant ist auch gut! Für einen Kurztrip ganz ok

Bonne adresse à Douino

Un accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire de l'hôtel, une chambre vaste très confortable. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est de très bonne qualité. Lors d'un prochain séjour aux confins de l'Italie nous y retournerons.

Das Hotel ist für Mittelitalien in einem guten Zustand, Alles ist wirklich sauber und ordentlich. Die Rückseite des Hotels grenzt an die Autobahn, wobei diese Nachts wenig befahren ist und wir kein Problem mit der Laufstärke hatten, trotzdem unser Zimmer seitlich auf den Wald guckte.

We arrived late after flying into Venice & driving up the coast. I booked this stay while having dinner nearby but didn't know it was an hour later. We thought Trieste was 6 hrs ahead of Chicago, but when we got to hotelnobidy was at reception. Thankfully 2 girls staying there went down to the restaurant y2o find the manager who was very gracious & gave us a key immediately. Our1 night stay was wonderful. Room easvery clean, great shower & enjoyed the breakfast. Delicious fresh fruit, croissants thank you! & perfect cappuccino! Thank you!

Bella camera spaziosa e pulita, buona la colazione . La nostra camera era molto rumorosa essendo posizionata vicino all’autostrada e a una linea ferroviaria. Struttura sprovvista di ascensore .

Buona la posizione dell’albergo, vicina all’abitato di Sistiana. Ottimo punto di appoggio per visite in zona. Ottima la pulizia delle camere e l’accoglienza del personale. Al piano terra il ristorante pizzeria offre vasta scelta di buoni piatti. Parcheggio in loco e zona tranquilla.

Le foto sono meglio della realtà...l'hotel è rimasto agli anni 60 nel triste decoro e nel limitato confort. Non c'è aria condizionata e se apri la finestra senti l'autostrada a due passi, la doccia funziona appena, la vista è su altre abitazioni e intravvedi che di là ci potrebbe essere il mare...che non vedi. Prima colazione discreta, con tanta frutta fresca come punto di forza.
