"On getting to our room we found someone was already in there, so had to take some extra time returning to Reception only to find our room had been accidentally given away. This was fairly easily amended, with us being given a different room instead but without a balcony. "I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. "

"A lovely hotel, currently being refurbished. Very friendly staff. Great food, great service. Spa is first class and very clean. Had a massage which was heavenly! We will hopefully be back again sometime soon"

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !!
The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate.
The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty...
