"Great experience would stay again"

"Staff was lovely and the room was in great shape. Very clean. Convenient location with a bus stop for the 11 line right across the street. Breakfast options were a bit basic, but all fresh! I had an excellent stay overall."

"I hate writing reviews. Just to preface how much I enjoyed my stay here. Worth writing a review. The vibe, value for amenities and response rate was phenomenal. My experience with self check in has been horrible, so I was skeptical. I was wrong to be. This is basically a great apartment with a cool vibe. The street is active and vibrant, but the unit is quiet. There's a great bar and restaurant downstairs called Pkank. It was packed. Didn't hear a thing in my room late at night. And...

"Parking was good. Air conditioning on all night had to have covers off. Room had smell like closed up for a while dead bolt on door didn't work. No coffee in morning. No drinking water "

"Very no frills - I asked about our sofabed being made up and the receptionist told me how to do it myself. Reception also told me there were no other rooms available (I was looking for a room with doubl beds), and my friend checked in after me and was upgraded to a significantly larger room. (I was not even given an option to pay for a larger room.) The one bright spot was the staff overseeing the breakfast (which was pretty good). The staff was kind, friendly and as accommodating as possible."

"This is a clean, well maintained and nicely themed hotel in a safe location in Hamilton. We had breakfast at the on-site restaurant, Baci. That was also nicely designed, clean and good food and service. Wishing we could book another day in June, but that date is fully booked:(."

"Stayed in the Beasley room for the night and it was exactly what we needed. Located in a lovely heritage building, the room and house is full of character. Super comfy and clean, both the room and common areas were very well kept. There are multiple well stocked washrooms and the kitchen looked recently installed or renovated. The staff was present, kind, and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat!"

"This was truly one of the worst motels at which I've ever stayed. The room was too warm, and the thermostat was broken. Worse still, the deadbolt on the door wasn't even functional; the screws were loose and it didn't connect at the proper spot. I understand that the price for the room was quite low, and so potential guests should revise their expectations. But frankly, the lack of maintenance was shocking."

"Breakfast was good. Room was not totally clean as there were a couple pieces of small garbage not picked up when vacuumed prior to our arrival. Desk space was limited. Our room had only a shower and that worked perfectly so no one had to climb over the tub to get in or out of the shower. Also, this motel was one of the first I have stayed in that actually had a shelf in the shower which was not against the shower head wall -- made it much easier to access shampoo, soap, etc."

"Tv not working properly and asked the reception for help and it took them a day to come see what was wrong with the television. Poor customer service."

"there was a musty smell and our room showed signs of water damage. Staff were not outgoing, no breakfast even though the sign outside said so. No coffee for the rooms. not enough funiture in the room for more thatn 1 person, two towels, no water cups. just awful"
