"Older style unit but clean and tidy with good bedding/linen and comfortable beds. Full kitchen. We got the breakfast option whlch included juice, yogurt, a selection of fresh fruit and breads. On site parking and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. "

"The only good thing about this place is that the rooms were clean. Everything else was terrible. There was no water in the kitchen for 3/4 days and the staff did not tell us on check in. The kitchen was dirty as no one could do dishes or wipe down the benches. When I asked the staff tab out the water, they were rude and unapologetic, did not attempt to explain the situation. There were no parties but guest staying up late till 2am chatting on the deck so was noisy. The bunk beds are not sturdy, every time someone turn, the whole bunk moves and makes a noise as well. The staff wanted to keep our credit cards on a piece of paper behind the counter on arrival. I tried to explained that it was inappropriate and they got the number of their computer and wrote my credit card details on the piece of paper. "

"From the outside it looks tired but the room was nicely renovated and clean and was great for a short stay central to the city. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed our stay. "

"This is such an amazing hotel in the heart of Dunedin City Centre. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and provided great recommendations for what to explore. The restaurant staff were also very accommodating. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. "

"Despite the website advertising a bar and restaurant there were neither only a breakfast room. The 25NZD parking per night also comes as a surprise ! The hotel is typical 3 star but beginning to look a little tired. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast simple but adequate."
