"The staff was lovely and the area as perfect for exploring Orvieto. The room was clean though small with little space for suitcases or sitting anywhere but the bed. On nice days, this wouldn’t be an issue but it was rainy and cold while we were there so it did feel more limited."

"Quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. It was two twin boxsprings pushed together with very flat pillows. It was like sleeping on plywood. There was alot of street noise plus the windows were very dirty. Breakfast was good. Overall, not worth the money."

"Val at the front desk was exceptional. Everything from recommending great restaurants to ensuring transportation out of there was quick and painless. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Big rooms, great staff, and great breakfast. Well worth the stay. "

"Beautiful spot in the top of the hill with a fantastic view. You can walk to have an almost 360 degree view of the Tuscany Valley and smell the great collection of roses. Awesome place organized with very nice selection of furniture and modern amenities. The place and the service are really lovely. "

It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. "We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. The restaurant is very good, the staff is pleasant, and the view is stunning."
