"Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. "This hotel was overall an outstanding experience. The rooms are somewhat quirky but met all of my needs and I had a very good night’s sleep there. My stay included dinner and breakfast. The dining room is lovely with a wonderful view of the garden. It’s obvious that the chef is serious because even though I had the “cheaper” option, my dinner was still better than many other places I have been on my trip.
