"A wonderful spot in a beautiful city away from the hustle of Amsterdam but close enough to visit Amsterdam as one wishes. Also close to the lovely city of Volendam."

"Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes"

"Property is very close to train station and zanse schanse and staff was very helpful in accommodating our late check in, holding onto luggage at reception etc. Only thing to complain about was the soap in the shower was running low but we also didn't try ringing the reception to ask for more so can't dock them for that"

"This hotel was ideally located for visiting Amsterdam . 10 minutes on the train (station located right beside hotel ). Hotel staff were lovely , room clean and very quiet. Restaurant looked lovely (although we didn’t eat there ) He area is lovely with a lovely little shopping and bars close by. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."
