"Great. They have everything you could need - well appointed kitchen, milk and breakfast provided, plenty of fluffy towels even down to non stick bath mats"

Very spacious room, extremely clean and comfortable. Fridge stocked with fruit, yogurt, milk, juice and cold water plus snacks. Nice for breakfast. The host was very friendly. Easy parking and really convenient for our trip to Stonehenge.

A lovely room in a very cosy, friendly pub. There was some road noise due to the location, but this dies down after dark. The facilities and food were excellent.

The owner were extremely welcoming. Was told that there may be late night noise due to the new night club opposite. Which didn't close until about 3am. Also informed that there was a function in the hotel which would finish at midnight. Also changed our room so any noise from the night club would not disturb us. Arranged for us to have a meal even though the bar food was ready to close. also received 20% off the cost of the bar food menu The food was great value and cooked to perfection and...

Our host really did make our brief stay enjoyable. The George and Dragon has a style of its own and if tradition mixed with modern comfort is what you are seeking then this pub and restaurant will not disappoint you. They work to earn their reputation. The staff are both pleasant and engaging. It may be a cliche but you really will be made to feel welcome. Watch out for misinformation about its location. It is in the village of Rowde outside of Devizes.

The decision to provide a stunningly appointed shared lounge/kitchen rather than a fourth bedroom speaks volumes about the proprietors philosophy of providing a truly memorably enjoyable experience for guests.

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening.
The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral.
The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

My family and I enjoyed our overnight stay here. All the staff were very friendly, and the food was good.
Special thanks to Patrick, who kindly offered to help carry our luggage to our room. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. 🙏

Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough.
Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again.

Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well.
The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up.
There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in East Chisenbury, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What can I see and do in East Chisenbury?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Finkley Down Farm, or get out into nature at a spot like Bowood Garden. In the wider area, you’ll find Woodhenge and Stonehenge.
What are holiday rentals like in East Chisenbury?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in East Chisenbury. Holiday rentals feature extras such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, holiday rentals can offer a sense of security away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular option for families.
