"The room was large and very clean. The staff were very helpful."

"If you want to enjoy beaches on the East coast of Zanzibar, which are clean and not overcrowded, Breezes in Dongwe is a good place to go. For a half board and not an all inclusive hotel, Breezes is relatively expensive in comparison, because the room rates are high and you will pay every lunch and every drink extra. The food and the drinks are good but not as good as the room rate and the prices (to be paid in US Dollars) would suggest and it might not be the cook’s or the barman or barmaid’s...

"A very cosy hotel for quiet holidays. Standard breakfast. The tour operator Andre Group Limited (Tours & Travel) was nice to deal with. The hotel location demands a lot of private car & prepare for huge expenses for local transport. Good for beach lovers."

"Nice and quite relaxed area right near the rock. We enjoyed our time. Wi-Fi was good and staff were very friendly. You also have the pleasure of meeting a s sweet cat named Demetri."

"Nothing at all to complain about regarding the hotel, it was excellent, but just note that the bay and the tide makes it not ideal for swimming/bathing at all times. But on the other hand, there is a looong pool available, so if the idea is to exercise swimming, this pool was excellent."

"Absolut top! Trotz früher Anreise konnten wir sofort ins Zimmer! Das Essen war fantastisch und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam! Wir fühlten uns wie im Paradies!!"

"Jättemysigt ställe med fantastisk personal!"

"We can’t thank the staff at white paradise enough. We stayed for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and couldn’t have picked a better place. The food is unbelievable, all à la carte rather than your all inclusive buffet. The grounds and hotel itself are stunning, the staff are so welcoming and are always happy to help you. We’d like to thank Clara for always being on hand, as well as all of the bar/restaurant staff for accommodating all our needs, it was an unforgettable honeymoon."

"Everything was perfect, particularly the staff"

"Best with this hotel is the location. Walking distance to beach. Good breakfast, but dinner there are better options not far away. Clean and well maintained rooms, but no working a/c."

"Ab und zu Stromausfälle gehabt, aber das ist auf dieser Insel nichts aussergewöhnliches. Sehr schön und authentisch eingerichtet. Sehr empfehlenswert👌👌"

"What a thoughtfully curated hotel. They were extremely responsive and helpful with coordination of all travels and excursions. The staff were warm welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. They always had a smile on their faces. Special shout out to Raphael. Manages quality one day! Very unique hotel experience that I highly recommend! And the food… wow. Shout out to the chef very impressive. We hope to be back."

"Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. In addition, the food unfortunately falls below expectations. Considering the price, the culinary experience could have been significantly better. This...

"Overall the experience was positive. We arrived at midnight and staff was still readily available to assist. They even left a late night snack in our room upon arrival. If you are seeking a more laid back resort, it certainly fits the bill. I hoped for more activities available on site. The resort went into quiet mode after 10pm. Also I noticed they had a notification board for information but having daily itineraries either available in print in the room or on the tv would have been helpful....
