"The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The facilities are a bit rundown and could do with a lick of paint. The menu choice is a bit limited and the restaurant times are short. The rooms are basic but clean and other than a hairdryer everything else is provided."

We stayed in room 1 and had a lovely view of the river on the morning, hotel was quiet, warm and comfortable. "We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
