"My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Ayres Lodge in Alpine. We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, and this hotel delivered perfectly. After a long drive from Phoenix, we especially appreciated the hotel's convenient location right off of Interstate 8. While it was a bit of a drive to reach Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Miramar National Center during the day, the quiet and comfort of the Ayres Lodge was well worth it. "Best place to relax by the pool and getaway from the hustle and bustle. Rooms are usually fantastic, but this time around they put us in a room right next to the elevator. Not the best, and the smell of cigarette drowned the room, never had that problem before. It made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, my stay was wonderful. Staff was excellent."

"My family and I traveled with our pets. The facility was very pet friendly. We were greeted by a friendly host upon arrival. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast served was nice, hot, and fresh daily. Plenty of places to eat near by. Gas station and freeways within close proximities. This was a very convenient location.
