1st I will say that Lavet & the guy at chk in were very kind, polite & they tried to be helpful through my stay. Here’s where it all went wrong..
This place should not be accepting reservations until the black mold issue is resolved.
The 1st room i was issued smelled like wet dog, & the ac vent was covered in black mold.
Went & got a rm change, same issue, black mold in AC, 3rd room the front desk guy accompanied me to, he assured me that they would make sure I had a spotless room (that never happened), same issue, black mold in the vents of the AC.
The mgr assured me they would find me a room that was clean, she had cleaning staff go over the next room they were going to put me in. I waited nearly 30 minutes for that to happen.
Upon entering the 4th room, inspected the AC unit & cleaning staff simply sprayed some sort of cleaner into the vent & half heartedly cleaned the visible vent. Under the paneling, you could see where there was an overgrowth of black mold.
Crossed paths w/ mgr in the Commons area & she asked me if everything was OK, I told her it was not, that I would just have to sleep w/ the AC unit off because I don’t have Faith that any rm I’m put in will have a clean AC unit that does not have an overgrowth of mold. She let me know that I could request a refund to go elsewhere.
I booked through Expedia and there was nothing else available in the area, I was stuck.
I req district mgr to contact me & I still have not received a phone call 4 days later.
