"The staff was kind, and the complimentary breakfast was really good. I was traveling with a friend and we were able to get a room with 2 Queen beds. I also liked that I was able to catch a shuttle to and from the airport for free. However, when I tried to check out, no one was at the front desk. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I had to leave to catch the shuttle to the airport. I had to send a message through Expedia to ask them to check me out."

"The TRYP Hotel in Newark presents itself well on the surface. The property is attractive, reasonably priced, and the amenities are perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, my stay was overshadowed by some of the worst customer service I have experienced at any hotel.
The first room I was assigned had a cockroach on the bed linens. When I reported it to the front desk, there was no apology, no expression of concern, and no acknowledgment that this was a serious issue. The employee simply handed me a...
