"I did not have the beakfast but the dining area looked inviting. The shuttle was easily accessed. Alrhough I think the hotel is old it has been nicely renovated. I would stay there again."

"On 8 August 2023 at 13:21, I called Acre of Africa Guest House to open the gate. They answered and said they will open the gate. In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. Waiting for them to open the gate at night could have resulted in my kidnapping and murder - it's a scary thought. Now they're telling me they won't refund my money because I didn't wait at...

"One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. The chef was so nice and made me a really lovely vegan meal for dinner and they packed me up a breakfast box for my early departure the next...

"The hotel is perfectly acceptable with spacious rooms, but the decor is of the most ordinary kind. The corridors were straight out of The Shining – quite alarmingly long and alienating."

"Our reservation for two nights was mismanaged and it took hours to resolve the issue. Front desk should have asked for a CC upon check in and did not causing several issues with the restaurant. Great location and clean. "

"I tried to contact the hotel several times to know where to pick up the shuttle at the airport and nobody ever replied leaving me to scramble when I arrived . Interestingly once I tracked it down it was a very well run an efficient process. The need to explain how to find the bus when you land if you not going to respond to email."

"The property is very clean and the staff are highly professional! The room was very large and well worth it for the price charged! The bathroom was a huge spa bathroom with a huge bathtub. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Great place to stay if you have limited mobility like I do because the elevators work well. The shuttle service is excellent and prompt. Very pleased with my stay and will return in the near future!"

Need extra soaps shampoo and body creams to be readily available. No face cloths available in the room. Everything was extremely limited. "
