"I would have given this property a much better review if the check in wasn't good. This guest house is no longer associated to or called Spinnakers...it is now Catherine Street guest house but I was never contacted about such. The email with the code and room number did not arrive, so I went to the Spinnakers restaurant to inquire about the booking, not knowing that they were not still connected. The gal there was not too impressed with being asked about how to get into the guest house, but did...

"Just wrapped up a wonderful 2 night stay at Fairholme Manor! Property is immaculately maintained, in a quiet area but still a quick 10 minute drive from downtown Victoria. We stayed in suite number 7 (the penthouse), which was enormous and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Staff were friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend!"

"Great breakfast. Free parking and accessible to many tourists sites. Delightful and helpful staff. Many steps, room air conditioning not working. Very poor shower in bathroom."

Cathy was fabulous: giving us the history of the inn and making our stay so comfortable, even giving us Dubai chocolate when she heard it was our anniversary. This inn is ideally located for walking to everything and the two-course gourmet breakfast gets you on your way with a full stomach and a smile on your face. Do not pass up this lovely and unique place to stay in a wonderful city!"
