"Loved our stay here"

"The location inside Death Valley National Park was excellent! Really enjoyed our stay at Stovepipe Wells. The room was clean, large and comfortable. All the staff we met both in the lodge and the dining areas were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, offering ideas of what to see and do during our stay. It is quite a distance to travel to any other restaurants from Stovepipe Wells but although we had three dinners and three buffet breakfasts there we really enjoyed all our meals....

"Three friends and I stayed here for our Mt. Whitney climb. Pretty standard motel, but the rooms and property were clean and well maintained. Bed was firm but comfortable. There is a pool and laundry room onsite which we used and it worked perfectly. About a 20min drive from the Whitney Portal and just a short walk to shops and restaurants in town. "My 3rd stay here and it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. Spotless rooms, spa-like shower, comfortable bed, everything you need. The owner clearly takes great pride in her motel. Light breakfast options in the communal kitchen (bagels, yoghurt, coffee, fruit, tea kettle). Needed earplugs at night because of the AC but otherwise a perfect stay. Dinner across the road at the Crowbar (the rainbow trout is particularly good). Be sure to spend time around the firepit after dark and enjoy the...
