"For the money spent this hotel was fine but it was very concerning that the black mold was spray painted over in the shower. That’s a huge health hazard. The beds were pretty lumping and the first floor had a very mildew smell to it. We honestly would like a discount on the room. For the owners knowledge, there was also water coming out from the shower handle. That will eventually cause an issue in the shower."

"Wallace and Nancy are the most gracious hosts. The property is beautiful, you can feel your stress melt away, and while this property is very close to the best restaurants and shopping, when hanging out at the cottage it is easy to forget you are in the city, it feels like you have escaped to the countryside. We had the best breakfast in the mornings....mixed fresh fruit with creme and granola, followed by eggs benedict and for dessert gooey homemade brownie...was just one of the awesome treats...

"When we arrived it was our dinner time. Noticed a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance. The front desk person offered a coupon and listened to our request to be away from the pool. He was helpful, friendly and gave good advice. Breakfast the next morning was full and ready when we arrived. Parking well lit and felt safe."

"The room was very clean and the amenities were nice. A very contemporary layout and includes a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom layout was quite different (hence the aloft) than normal and didn’t have an actual door separating the shower from the main room. This was fine for my stay but if sharing a room with, say a coworker, that might feel a little odd. The staff was very nice and welcoming and the location was so convenient to the mall and places to eat."
