"Very central and lovely old hotel. A little tired in places but great staff. Disappointed that they only had the choice of one type of red wine which wasn’t great! They don’t service the rooms but you can get additional toilet roll and tea and coffee etc easily. Entertainment was good but only saw one night as problems with the equipment. So many gulls that my car was covered when parking outside. Value for money"

"My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. "We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Lockton 6 apartment. Brilliant location right on the beach very handy as i had young kids and family members with mobility issues with me. Was great for nipping back to get a change of clothes or snacks. The apartment and location ticked all our boxes and staff were friendly. The on site parking was great. "Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here."
