"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. "From the minute we arrived, the staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bags and check in a few hours early. The room was gorgeous and had a mini bar in the room with plenty of options for tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean with all amenities of soap, shampoo, heated towels,bathrobe and slippers. Within a 5 min walk from the subway station. And right on the water. Beautiful views. The hotel also has a work out fitness room and an outdoor pool and spa. They have a sister hotel across the road you can also utilize. Staff will give you a city pass for free transportation. HIGHLY recommend and would stay here again. "

"Excellent.Very good air conditioning. Thick double glazed windows.Room silent. Good beds and bathroom. Central location in the old town. Neighborhood clean and safe with some interesting characters on the street. Old town is halfway up the hill, walkable but some hills. Take the metro down to the waterfront where ,at Ouchy, there are old beautiful restored steamers to Montreux, Chillon Castle and Thonon-les-Bains with great views of the lake and Alps. Would definitely stay again. "
