"The property is new, its great. But the TV is not set up for use, an there are no channels available. Also WiFi didn't work even with correct information having been input. These seem like small things but they are assumed to work, and when you arrive back to your room late, I dont have the patience to run these issues down"

"I never heard of a booked room the guest having to request to be cleaned after the room is given to the guest. Every hotel I've been to the room given to me is always clean. Here at La Quinta the room was given to me dirty. The bathroom was disgusting and so dirty. The employee at the front desk told me that the room is given to the guest dirty and that I have to request to get it cleaned. I've never heard anything like this before. "This place was over $300/night but it was like staying in a $60/night motel. The carpet throughout the hotel was filthy and also unvacuumed. The wallpaper was old and peeling. The room smelled awful, like dirty feet, likely because the carpet in the room was old and filthy. Also, the smoke detector hung from the ceiling by its wires. I’m not high maintenance or prone to exaggerating—this place was nasty."
