"Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. This is a basic. No outdoor lighting and slippery broken decking steps is a health and safety hazard. Another guest kept leaving the main door open, and one night I took my dog out in the night to...

Another sore point was having to lift our suitcases up approx. 9 stairs to the front desk, then being told there’s another entrance with only 3 stairs. Once checked in, we had quite a few stairs to traverse before we made it to our room. We choose this hotel for the proximity to the Royal Mile. I can honestly say we got our work out everyday!"
