Purchased as a gift for my brother and sister in law. They had nothing but praise for how clean it was, great breakfast and warm staff. Great location to all the sights. Small pool was welcoming and very quiet.

Our room was so nice and spacious. It was clean and had a view of the city. We loved the bar/restaurant area. The bartender was so friendly and really added to the ambiance. There is construction going on across the street but we appreciated that the cost of the hotel was over $100 cheaper per night than comparable hotels in the area.

Spet 2 nights in Oct at the hotel. Wonderful experience. Room is spacious and clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast spread is good and we especially like the chef cooked meals in addition to the buffet. Hotel is located very near the central station and places of interest. We covered all these by foot and was very manageable. Lots of restaurant options nearby too. Staffs were friendly ad helpful. Definitely a place to consider when visiting Edinburgh. We used Uber to the hotel and cost 22 and 37 pounds to / fro.

After an extensive search on Expedia for hotels in Edinburgh, I couldn’t be happier with our choice of Apex Waterloo!!! The hotel, room, pub, pool and location were all EXCELLENT. Hotel is within walking distance of all major attractions. Very happy either way our stay 😍
