"Fantastic trip to The Weir lodge at Whitekirk Hill! The site facilities are excellent for families and the staff were most welcoming. This was our first trip here, but it certainly will not be our last. Myself, my partner and 2 year old son spent the weekend here and had a great time. "The hotel boasts the best location for tourists among branded hotels in Royal Mile Edinburgh. We took a three-day hiking trip to Loch Ness and came back at 6pm. The drop-off point at Lawnmarket is just 2 minutes walking from the hotel, so that we still had a lot of time in early evening to revisit the Edinburgh old town center. On the second day, we had to take an early flight back to Seattle, and the airlink stop to the airport was just 10 minutes walking from the hotel. "
