"Sadly this hotel is not value for money. They advertised a breakfast option but it was shut, pictures of tea and coffee in the rooms but none was in there. The hotel is a literally a building site. Builders coming in and out. Felt like I was intruding on their work. Kept being awaken by heavy doors slamming every hour by people and staff coming in and out. There was a brown mark on the bath and paint dust on the floor. The outside didn’t seem very welcoming by the sight of rubbish and dirty tissues on the floor. To be honest I left a day early because I couldn’t be there anymore. Constant problems with the door to the room not working, had to get the keycard fixed at least 5 times. Will I get any of my money back? The only thing that was good was the receptionist she was so polite and helpful to me and my girlfriend. Any problems she would always help. So until this place shuts down and gets things sorted I won’t be coming back here. It’s needs to be shut so all the problems can get fixed and addressed then people will start coming back and start trusting this hotel. "

"the rooms were warm, spotlessly clean, tea coffee etc supplied bathrooms bedding and linen spotless . breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice "

"The room was clean, the bed was comfy and it was reasonably quiet, and very conveniently sited, which was all we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. If you're after something more fancy this will not be for you, but if you just want a solid place to sleep then it's a good choice."

"Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday. Hotel is lovely! Room was clean and had everything we needed, nothing was too much hassle for the staff. Best breakfast we probably ever had, so much variety. We also had dinner which was outstanding. Spa and club facilities were great too. Will definitely be returning"

"Fantastic location and hotel but if a twin bed option was available with sofa bed for family room that would be so much better. Very expensive to stay is another downfall "

"Stayed on a Saturday evening and arrived before check in time. A wedding was in progress and although we had been warned that might happen we felt as if the wedding had taken over the whole of the ground floor and there was no where really for us to sit for a drink without feeling we were gate crashing the wedding. When we checked in the staff were lovely. They explained all the facilities and booked a time for swimming for us and sorted a small issue with the room immediately. We booked a time for dinner in the restaurant for later in the evening. After we unpacked we had a wonderfully relaxing swim/ sauna/ steam. Again the staff were lovely, there were towels provided and the offer of more if we required. The health suite facilities were very clean and the gym was extensive. Dinner was good and the menu had lots of options. Our room was good, clean and spacious and as it was on the third floor and we heard nothing from the party downstairs and even though the hotel is very near the M5 we didn’t hear any traffic noise so we slept very well. "
