"Clean room"

"Upon checking in, the front desk manager inquired if I would like to receive house keeping (room cleaning) during my 2 night stay. I said "Yes, please", and received no house keeping when I returned on the second evening. The front desk manager's response was "I must have clicked on the wrong thing when you checked in". This resulted in no new towels, emptied shower gel bottle, and unmade beds; we had to visit the front desk multiple times to rectify these issues. Further complicating matters,...

"This is a basic 1970’s era motel property. Room was clean and in good repair, bed was comfortable. Akin to a Motel 6, no Kleenex provided, TP was crappy and only one small towel bar in the bathroom. Location is good, convenient to Cal Poly and downtown SLO. Included breakfast is minimal, not many options. There are several other, nicer hotel properties within a block or so of this motel that looked much nicer, albeit likely more expensive."
