"The rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis- I was told they only clean every 3 days. Which was a disappointment. I chose this hotel because of the pool and the breakfast. The pool and hot tub were great. There was very little food, and the bananas were still very green. This wasn't the Marriott experience I am used to. For the price I paid, this wouldn't be my first choice to return to."

"We had a great stay at the 21c Museum Hotel Durham. The location is perfect, and the front desk staff was really friendly. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. I especially loved the mattress and pillows, and the shower was amazing. It was also nice to see eco-friendly toiletries. We were on the 6th floor and it was nice and quiet, and the blackout shades worked so well. We usually wake up early, but we actually slept in because the room was so comfortable and dark. Only small downsides: the ice delivery took a while, and valet was a bit backed up when we arrived. It looked like a U-Haul trailer was taking up space that should’ve been for guests, which didn’t help. But honestly, those were minor things. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Durham for a show or event."
