"Convenient location to gas station and grocery store. Onsite cafe and bar, big free parking lot. The hotel is a bit outdated, I had A five bunk beds private room for 4 people, no desk or shelf, but I used one bed to put stuff, works fine. Bathroom setup more like campground, individual room has door and curtain. Press button once hot water comes down, but only last 5-10 seconds. I have to repeatly press button. Kitchen has cookwares, utensil and plates. Range stove only has one out of 4 stove...

"We had booked Stóra Sandfell Rooms and Cottages for two nights but ended up staying only one. The setting is very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by woods, and it was different from the other places we stayed along the Ring Road. The kitchen was nice to have, and I can see how the patio and grill would be lovely in better weather, though the rain kept us from really enjoying those.
The cabin has a rustic cottage feel, which some travelers may really enjoy. My daughter had been excited to sleep...

"We stayed for 4 nights, we had everything we needed in the room, with a convenient and clean shared kitchen. The little town is so beautiful, and the fjord is just a perfect picture (you can drive with a regular car up to the river crossing). Getting to the town is through a beautiful mountain pass, that is just a whole experience by itself. It's a great spot for going north, south, or west. A little tip, the bakery in the gas station right next to the guest house is really great."
