It allows you to find quiet when you want it, but it’s close enough to the core that it can be easily walked by most people. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. There are a few nice cafes and breakfast spots nearby."

"When we arrived we were checked in quite quickly even thou it was before check in time..that was lovely as we were very tired from an all nite flight and we slept right away for about 8 hrs…the beds were very comfortable. The room was a half descent size and the bathroom was a large! However, they had a notice by the door that the rooms would not be cleaned or replenished for the two days we were staying there. "great hotel, rooms are large and clean, excellent showers. Try the wellness center. my wife and I enjoyed a massage and a dip in the pool. Breakfast was over the top, visit the bakery, best bread around we ate in the restaurant 2 nights as we were too tired to go anywhere. It was excellent, had a martini in the roof top cocktail lounge, what a view of the harbor each of the staff was friendly and accommodating. If we end up in Amsterdam again, we would stay again."
