"The style of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Really cute Annapolis vibes! It’s also incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, and check in and check out were a breeze! I would love to stay here again!"

"At first we were placed in the Calvert House but then switched to the Johnson. The shower plumbing was broken. The shower soap pump did not work. The tub porcelain was chipped and the pillows were very hard. The door did not seal at the bottom and hall light came in. Air conditioning was noisy. I know it is a historic inn but these issues should not have been there. I would not go back."

"When we arrived people were still checking out because of the problem with the elevators. So we have to wait for the room to be cleaned. We booked a handicap room but was giving a standard room I called down to the desk and they did move us to a handicap room. The Restaurant was closed for remodeling. One of the two elevators was not working. The hallways were hot. The a/c was working in our room just fine. It could be a nice place to stay. The location is great for someone that wants to shop...

"Breakfasts were ok. Bar needs to be opened Earlier maybe 3:00. Housekeeping was sadly lacking. We stayed 5 nights. On the 3rd day we had to ask for towels and trash removal since household had not been there since check in. They came with towels and emptied trash, that’s all. Never had clean towels after that. Our, bathroom was never cleaned, no new beverage glasses provided at all. Bed never made entire stay. Informed front desk at check out. Clerk was nice and apologized."

"Room accommodations were excellent, clean, well equipped and served. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! It was well supplied and had a wonderful variety. The service people kept all the offering full and available. On the down side, the hotel advertised happy hour, 5-7pm, daily, but on Wednesday and Thursday of our stay, the main desk staff stated that the Happy Hour staff didn't show up. Then they just shrugged it off, as if that was a normal occurrence??"

"The room was relatively clean. It was dusty and there were ants crawling on my bed. Not sure where they came from but saw at least 3 of them less than 24 hour period"

"We have been staying there for years, whenever we visit family in the area. Generally it has been good however we believe it is beginning to show its age and could use updating in many areas."

"Wonderful facility. Enjoyed the on site amenities. The garden was an interesting twist.Stayed in the Barn, a little tight for two people but well designed space. I would recommend if in the area."
