Ok hotel in goid location

Ok hotel in good location. Is ready for an update. Strange choice of restaurant style: caribbian. No guests in the evening. A waste of capacity. Breakfast very good and varied.

Hotel Glockenhof had old world charm and new world convenience. It was quiet and restful. Convenient to get to Wartburg Castle. Amazing dinner available onsite and the breakfast buffet beyond what we could even think. Thank you Hotel Glockenhof for a great kickoff to our trip!

Large and spacious accommodations for a low price. Furnishings are a bit sparse and worn with few electrical outlets available, but breakfast accommodations were first class! Overall, would definitely recommend.

The room including bathroom were very nice. Didn't hurt that I had just left a hotel elsewhere that wasn't very good. Limited electric sockets and needed an extension cord for the coffee machine. Ended up not using. It appeared to be top of the line - and came with an 18 page manual (the english portion) and I just wasn't up for it. (Texted a friend in the US. She has one and loves it.) Front desk helpful with taxi transportation to Wartburg Castle.

A great deal.

The hotel was conveniently located near some sites of interest, including the Bachhaus, as well as the city center. The neighborhood had a number buildings with plenty of aesthetic appeal and there were several parks and other green spaces nearby. It was also fairly easy to reach and depart from by automobile. All of this combined with the good price made this a very great choice of hotels.

Zentral und sehr sauber

Sehr korrektes Hotel. Tolles Staff an der Rezeption. Tolle Lage (Man kann auch vom Bahnhof laufen). Sauber, gemütlich ohne schnick/schnack. Schade, das die Kissen sind nicht so komfortabel und Internet puffert. Sonst perfekt.

Unser Zimmer hatte Fenster zur Bundesstraße. Es war trotz Ventilator (keine Klimaanlage) nicht möglich, die Raumtemperatur auf ein erträgliches Maß zu bringen. Also war nur die Wahl: Hitze oder Straßenlärm. Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Die Lage war für unsere Aktivitäten optimal. Das Zentrum war zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende dort und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Über verschiedene Eierspeisen, Thüringer Wurstspezialitäten und Lachs bis hin zu Säften und Sekt wurde alles geboten. Wir würden dort wieder buchen.

Fin beliggenhed i centrum, havde en enkelt overnatning på vej til Italien. Vi kom 2 timer før check in, tillod at låne toilettet til min datter, efter en lang køretur, uden at spørge, da receptionen var tom da vi ankom. Blev mødt af hende helt ude på toilettet, uforstående. Værelset kunne ikke stilles til rådighed før, fair nok, men med max 10 mennesker på hele hotellet ?? Spurgte om råd til parkering, fik en oversat guide udleveret, uden et ord. Serviceniveau derfor minimal.

Zimmer war leider nicht pünktlich zum Check-in fertig gewesen. Cafegutschein wäre dann sinnvoll gewesen. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Bett bequem. Frühstück super.
