"This is an old hotel, the facilities are tired and dated. It does however have charm and it’s different to chain hotels, so that’s all good. No AC was disappointing."

"This place was very clean and well maintained, spotless in fact, but the only "amenities" are vending machines with drinks and ice. It is more of a very clean and nice motel, not a hotel or inn. Perfect if you want to stay in that area. The immediate neighborthood around the Dunes is not exciting, but there are good bars and restaurants not too far. The employees and operations manager are very nice, flexible and accommodating, and I would certainly stay there again with the above in mind."

"Room was clean. Bathroom had two towels, but one wash cloth and one hand towel for two people. Mattress was servicable, but that's about it. The hotel offers free exterior parking, but only 9 parking spaces, all of which were taken when we returned after leaving for the afternoon. Lot's of homeless folks in the neighborhood. All in all, the hotel is not a bad choice for the budget conscious, like me."

"This place is an alright stay.We only stayed in town 1 night to attend a Dodgers game. The rooms are spacious and clean.The surrounding area of the hotel is a little crusty. Parking is definitely compacted.Get there early if you want to get a parking.If not, you have to park on the street, which is sus."

"While the outside of the building was old and dated and the breakfast was just toast, coffee, sugar and powdered milk. I do have to say that the room was clean, comfortable and our particular room was huge."

"The Roxy Hotel is terrific! A small, well-located, basic place to stay with a kind and helpful staff. The location is a bit rough but very near the Metro, bus lines, and markets. There is limited, locked parking at night and street parking close by. The people who run the hotel are wonderful. It seems like there is limited cleaning staff but for a short stay they are clean enough, with plenty of hot water, windows that open to the fresh air, a fan and a refrigerator. A perfect place to explore...

"This boutique hotel just re-opened. Everything is very chic and squeaky clean. It was very lightly booked when I went so the staff were incredibly attentive. They're still working a few bugs out, but everything was pretty smooth. For example, there weren't instructions on parking, but when I arrived, I called their number.
