Castles in El Hajeb Province

"The property is beautiful. It's a sprawling resort with areas outdoors in the woods near a cascading springs that I enjoyed sitting at. I liked the lobby, the swimming pools and the exercise room. Checking in was easy. You're sat in the very nice lobby and you're greeted with a nice apple lemon ginger juice while the check in is proceeding. The staff is very nice, attentive and professional. The room is very nice, nicely decorated and the linen is crispy clean white cotton. The appetizers in the lobby were very good. But the drinks are crazy expensive. There were a few glitches: my minibar was empty. This is an expensive hotel. When I brought this issue to the management, they offered to fill it. But it did seem to me as if they were cutting corners. Also, my room was dark. The lighting was dim and not enough to read. It was a room to just retire to and go to bed and watch TV. It's unpleasant to not have enough light in a room, especially if you want to read. In the daytime, the room tends to be dark in the part away from the window. When I brought this matter to the management, they offered to upgrade me to a suite. However, the sitting room in the suite was even darker while the bedroom was brighter. I thus declined the upgrade. The lobby is very nice but it too needs a bit more lighting in some spots. I had to look for a corner with enough light to read the menu and see my food. The drinks are crazy expensive. But overall a very nice stay."

"Amazing place. Highlight of our Morocco trip. Even though all Moroccan hotels label themselves as riad, they are actually dars (lacking a tree or courtyad garden). This is a true riad featuring a sky high orange tree and a fountain right in the middle of courtyard. The whole place was beautifully decorated and each room was personalized. The hosts were the nicest. They made sure to put a crib in the room, even though I forgot to ask. They bent over backwards to meet our every request. The breakfast was amazing and their lunch was one of our best meals in Morocco. Their in-hotel hamam and massage service was also extremely reasonably priced and great. Overall, it's a gem of place and you won't regret staying here. "

"The Riad Fes was one of the most striking hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The rooftop was wonderful and it was a great experience overall. The only downside was that we reserved two rooms and they ended up being far from each other."

"This might be the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in. If not it is in the top 3. The details are amazing. We stayed in the ambassador suite and it was spacious... and gorgeous! There are stairs to the bathroom so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. The staff are nice and helpful. Special shout out to Samma and Hammid. You are close to the Medina but can still be dropped off by car and get out of town quickly. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip"

"Great hotel in a nice quiet area of Fes. Lots of good restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel (if you don’t want to dine at the 3 restaurants on the premises) and plenty of petite taxis that you can flag down to get to the Medina and other attractions."

"Broken glass, mould, blood on the floors, dirty rugs and hair balls , mouldy pillows , stained sheets, DO NOT GO I did not choose this hotel, hotels.com told me as we were boarding our flight that the hotel i booked couldnt honour our reservation and they booked this saying it was 5 star and better than what i booked. Its a terrible hotel"

"Located just outside the bustling medina, Riad Le Toyour is a true oasis of calm and beauty. The interior courtyard and rooftop are filled with lovingly maintained plants and flowers, with birds all around. It really feels like a little Garden of Eden. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and beautifully furnished, with thoughtful personal touches that made it feel both elegant and welcoming. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. We were especially impressed by Idris, the riad manager, who went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure every detail of our stay was just right. We felt less like hotel guests and more like visitors in someone’s home. We would absolutely recommend Riad Le Toyour to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful retreat in Fes. We would gladly return!"

"La localisation de l'hôtel était très pratique. Le personnel de l'hôtel était plaisant et facile à interagir malgré quelques difficultés de langue. Le gym est bien entretenu et assez complet avec ses équipements. La chambre est de bonne grandeur. Le lit était très confortable et les oreillers assez nombreux mais surtout de bonne dimension et dureté. La salle de bain comportait certains problèmes. Le miroir "grossissant" ne tenait pas donc n'était pas serviable. La salle de toilette sentait l'urine constamment, sans doute un problème de plomberie. Les petits déjeuneurs était copieux et de bonne qualité. Le personnel était toujours bien souriant malgré le travail et l'achaldage. Le chef du restaurant était très présent pour assurer le bon fonctionnement. Il était aussi très accueillant. La chef à la station pour les œufs & omelettes était toujours souriante et nous a donné de bonnes omelettes et œufs. Bravo! Finalement, le personnel du parking nous a aidé à chaque jour. Ils nous reconnaissait à notre arrivé et était bien attentionné. Merci!"
