"If I could, I would give more than 5 stars for this breathtaking riad in the old city Fes. If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. "Our room was perpetually damp. The sheets and the pillow were always damp. "This is a gorgeous riad. The ground floor rooms are beautiful as well as the inner garden. The rooms and common spaces are very clean. The rooftop is very pretty. The breakfast is Ok, including fruits, bread and pancakes. There was a problem with the piping when I was there and I had to insist quite a bit to get a new room because I was offered to stay in the room while using a common bathroom in the hallway, which was suboptimal for many reasons. "The cooking staff and the waiter (a boy) were friendly and helpful. The Riad looked great in the lobby. My room just outside the lobby was a bit musty and having asthma I requested another room but they didn’t have any. I had trouble working the air conditioning thinking that might help but the remote battery was dead. Bought 2 and I still couldn’t get it to work. Finally able to get assistance and it helped.
