"We stayed one night as we had a cruise the next day, but this hotel was an awesome stay! The area was very nice, and we found some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean, and staff was very accommodating. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, and space themed decor. We ill stay here again for future Galveston cruises!"

"The first room I was in the shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom. The rooms have been attempted to have been updated, but the building itself felt very out dated. The room I got moved to hadn’t been cleaned all the way, the trash cans were full and dirty linens on the counter still. The 3rd room was decent but there had been no spider mitigation of the balcony’s or pool area. The coworker I traveled with was also given an uncleaned room on his check-in and had other issues during the stay. "

"Needs general maintenance. No bedding in room for pull out bed. Only one person at front desk so I had to go get the bedding and pillows for the bed. Hair dryer did not work, but there was only one person at front desk again so they couldn't help. Light over bed was out but no one to change it and no lamps beside bed. Breakfast was ok, plenty of food."

"We have stayed here multiple times over the last 4 years. About 3 times a year. The hotel must have changed hands. Staff is very nice and room was clean. The room felt musty, like the ac filter needed changing. The sound on the TV could be better...not the best sound. Breakfast was disappointing. Prior to this visit, a full buffet was offered, serving, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, waffles, etc. This time was eggs, sausage, only white bread, cereal, and some yogurt. Didn't even have real cream for the coffee, just the powder packets. No sugar substitute. No decaf coffee. Could be much better. Exercise room was not available, which I was counting on. Perhaps we will give it one more try."

"I had a very pleasant stay here! I was down in Houston for my son’s school trip to NASA and the Kemah boardwalk. I spent about 3 days here and it was enjoyable. It was a pretty fair and affordable price. But that did reflect a slight bit on the quality of the hotel. However what was most important to me and really stuck out was the kindness from the manager he also might have been the owner I’m not completely sure. And the kindness and amazing service I received from the housekeeping staff as well. I was very impressed! The manager was friendly and helped answer my questions. I was out of things for my room at one point and he made sure to restock me with supplies. I remember him pointing us to the pool when we were trying to find it also. He was helpful and friendly. It meant alot! I also loved the housekeeping staff! The super sweet housekeeping staff came to my room every day to help me! They were so kind and thoughtful! They came every day to check on us to see if we needed to throw any trash away they also always restocked me and gave me extra towels as well. That really meant a lot to me! I remember one of the days i was there I believe the manager actually was making the housekeeping rounds and helped assist in helping with housekeeping. I thought that was very nice and involved for a manager to help with housekeeping. I also loved how surprisingly comfortable the beds are here! I had the best sleep ever!"
