"Was told room is not available, hotel is booked and that Expedia made the mistake! We had to beg for a room that we had confirmed. We arrived around 9:15 pm and was told checking in had to be done at 4. Never heard you have to be there on a first come first serve basis to stay -plus it was a comfort inn not Quality Inn as stated in Expedia App. Half the building looks like water damage. The AC unit in room is horrible noise and you can’t adjust the Vent. "

"They put us in a room with a broken toilet that they had gerry-rigged with a string. You couldn’t flush the commode. When we asked to change rooms they argued with us at first. They finally moved us. The ONLY good thing about this motel was a good shower. Bed was hard, breakfast was burnt, motel was not well-maintained."

"This property is under new management and you can tell by all the recent 5 star reviews. The room was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Such a variety of foods to include eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, cereal and more. There was a bigger variety on the weekend, than the weekday, but still a big assortment. Staff was friendly and helpful. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the parking lot needs...

"Room was clean but the overwhelming smell of room freshener made my eyes water and nose run. I am allergic to strong smells and it was very difficult to lessen the odor in the room to alleviate my allergic reactions. The shower head produced a stinging ,pinpoint spay of water. "It is surprise Double Tree has such a shabby building in Williamsburg. The noice of AC in the room is huge, you basically feel thunderstorm the whole night, I literally was thinking it was heavy raining for the whole night. And about the clean room, you barely feel someone is cleaned anywhere of the room. The check out line in the morning is long and they only have one staff at front desk for all customers, so you have to wait for very long time, horrible place. Breakfast is not covered, they...

"The lady at the counter at 2am was wonderful! We had a problem with our room and she upgraded us to a suite to accommodate our stay. I think the cleanliness could be better. There were piles of trash by the steps through out the weekend. Other than that it was a good stay."
