"The cabin was a remote base to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It was clean and comfortable for our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys. The geothermal hot tub was a fun treat too. The hike to Eldborg Crater was a nice adventure with great views from the (steep) summit."

"Great property with great location and amenities for a perfect family stay. The complimentary breakfast was really great. I wish the bathrooms has few more square feet added, it's tiny 😀 Overall, I will prefer staying again in this hotel if I am in the area."

"La maison date de 1895. C’était vraiment très mignon et décoré à l’ancienne. L’escalier pour le deuxième étage est très abrupte. Je ne recommande pas pour les personnes ayant peur des hauteurs! Il est difficile de monter des gros bagages, mais j’ai beaucoup apprécié notre grande chambre à l’étage. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de locataires en même temps que nous. Nous avions la salle de bain du haut pour nous seulement. Pour le déjeuner il y avait vraiment beaucoup de choses à disposition. J’y retournerai à sans hésitation."

"We had the most pleasant check in experience in Iceland. Patrick was very welcoming and was able to deduce from our last name that we might have dietary restrictions. He arranged for a special dish for breakfast for us. He was able to provide interesting historical information about the city. The church in the hotel was very unique. A simple church but where one could find peace."
