Aber schräg gegenüber ist ein Bäcker, eine Apotheke und ein Getränkemarkt. Ein paar Mini-Märkte eine Straße weiter. Metro Station, Imbis, Supermarkt und Restaurants 100 Meter weiter. 10-15 Minuten mit der Metro zum Monastiraki Platz."

Although other reviews mentioned it being very close to restaurants and shops, it was still about a 10 min walk from the property (I’m about 8 months pregnant so walking to some places were difficult). "Great living koukaki is a great place to stay if you are visiting Athens, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Walkable to all main attractions, close to restaurants and grocey stores. The rooms are very clean and the hosts are superb. 10/10."

"An und für Sich ein super Hotel. Jedoch ist die Gegend der Hotels sehr schmutzig, laut und viele Obdachlose etc.. Der Pool ist nicht beheizt und leicht verschmutzt. "It’s an older hotel but well maintained. The highlight for us was the updated rooftop pool area. Great views of Athens and good food and service. The area around the hotel is quite sketchy and there is very little selection to eat and nowhere to walk or shop. You would have to jump in a cab or the subway. Surprising for an area that does have some nice hotels. Overall a good stay "
