"The property is getting managed through what’s app messaging. No front desk, or any staff at the property. In the room there is no tv. Bathroom and shower only has hand soap. Throughly bare minimum. Location was on elevations. Hard to get and steep road."

"A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk...

"This was one of the most charming, beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!"

"Conveniently located with parking which was a huge plus. Check in was vary easy and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Our room was no frills but clean. We booked a double and our beds were two twins pushed together. about 20 minutes outside of Chania, but with a car, it was not a problem and preferable to staying in the city. "

"Great location, perfect for walking around the old harbor / old town area; there are dozens of restaurants and cafes around. Very quick walk over to the lighthouse, too. Might be a bit of a challenge to park if you have a car, but there are no issues if you're using public transit/taxis. The room has a very nice view / balcony and the amenities are good. This hotel does not have a check-in desk per se, but you can walk a few hundred feet to another one of the Domus hotels and check in there....
