"I had heard so many great things about Luang Prabang, I wanted to check it out. My stay at the Pha Nya Residence was outstanding. Check in was easy, the staff was so very friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast was also very good - try the Northern Lao soup. It was great and I had it every day."

"a lovely property with the most amazing staff especially the manager Mr Peehann. Start with the property which was lovely, comfortable and clean with decent sized rooms. The hotel prepared a breakfast each morning with eggs but local pho was available. Additionally the coffee saffron was excellent. "Mekong Riverview is an excellent option if you want to have a unique experience in Luang Prabang. "This was easily one of the most luxurious resorts I’ve ever stayed in. It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. "Lovely stay on the river in Luang Prabang. A little far from the center of town but that is a good and bad thing. There's a shuttle and you really feel a sense of space and comfort."

"I stayed 9 nights here in Villa Phonetip and it was perfect. I had room 4 which had its own private entrance up a little lane way with view of the Meekong. I could sit on my private balcony and watch the sunset each evening ! The location is perfect with lots of riverside restaurants very nearby and it’s only a few minutes walk to the Main Street and night markets. The rooms are large, bright and clean with good air con. "This was the first hostel I ever stayed in and it’s still my favourite. I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on.
