"The garden view apartment had everything we needed, including a bonus spa bath on the balcony and a sea view that I wasn’t expecting. The lounge was big enough for one kid on the couch and one on the extra bed ($35 per night). The main bed was comfy and the apartment was clean and air conditioned. Screen only between main bedroom and lounge. A few minor items needed to be replaced (broken toaster, fridge that freezes everything or nothing, aged bath tap and plug, paint in the main bedroom)...

"I've stayed at the Proximity Apartments before and have always been happy. The apartment we were offered this time did not face the Ocean but the water could be seen if you turned your head sideways when leaning on the balcony rail....:) Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay at these apartments again. Fantastic quiet location directly opposite the beach with great restaurant choices within short walking distance. Private underground car park. Could not fault and will definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 45 anniversary. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels. A nice touch was the fresh bread, butter and condiments for breakfast. Being a Sunday night the only place open was the pub for dinner but wow what a dinner that was. The best meal we have had in a long time."
