"The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. There was a small refrigerator. The bathroom and shower were totally tiled, which was nice. The shower had a curtain instead of the typical glass doors which we liked better. It was great that both breakfast and dinner were offered. "I read some negative reviews of this place and I have no idea why anyone would rate this place poorly. It is excellent accommodations. Great breakfast. The only negative is that the ad says something about a bar and lounge - uh - no. There is a little bar by the reservation desk with a couple of chairs but that’s it. All in all a great place to stay."

"Mycket trevligt boende. Blev så bra bemötta i receptionen vid incheckningen. Vi hade en svit med utsikt mot berget, med magisk utsikt. Rummet var rymligt, fräscht och fantastiskt skön säng. Frukosten var mycket bra och inget saknades. Restaurangen, som tyvärr ligger i bottenplan och man förstår inte varför den inte ligger högst upp med den utsikten som är möjlig, var helt okej. Personalen även här mycket trevliga och gästvänliga. Menyn var kanske inte den roligaste så vi nöjde oss medden pizza....

"Det var enkelt og greit. Fikk nøkkelen til hytta og anvist hvor jeg kunne parkere. Trivelig beliggenhet med utsikt fra verandaen ut mot fjorden mot syd. Senga var bra, jeg sov godt om natten. Det er stor sjanse for at jeg overnatter her neste gang jeg skulle trenge det på en tur til Ålesund. "

"Although the check-in process was not as expected (we met someone on the corner street after calling being unable to find the location) our appartment was extremely lovely, clean and overall perfect. Felt like we underpaid for what was delivered compared to more expensive options in the city and other stops on our trip. "

"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "
